About near to a month back, I had written this post about following up and praying through a prayer request upon agreeing to so.

That entry was created right after a friend of mine contacted me on MSN and had asked me to pray for her to ace the job interview that day, and of course, getting the job! I prayed for her immediately after publishing that post.

Last Wednesday (that’s three weeks after the interview), she contacted me again, and told me that she landed that job as a recruiter in one of the largest oil refining companies in Singapore. Woohoo!

At Tuesday night last week (8th March 2008), right after having a great session of LAN (local area network) gaming with some of my friends, most who are from the team of Winning Everyone (those that are based in Singapore, sorry Mavarick!), I walked home with one of our friends and had a good talk with him on the way back.

He had a prayer request, and after letting it known to me, we found a place to sit and started praying.

One of the prayers we made on that day was to have his dad close a deal that would definitely change their financial situation back into the green!

Knowing that there is power in numbers and great focused prayers from those who are committed to pray through the request, he rallied his cell group members and close friends to pray for him the night before the deal was to be made.

Two days later from that night, my friend contacted me and told me of the good news! His dad closed that deal which was in the five-figures! Sweet!

Here’s a joke I read online before: How do you become a six-figure blogger?

The answer was: Get a six-figure job and start blogging!

Congratulations again to my friends who have their breakthroughs mentioned here!
