We will have friends in our life. No matter how little or many friends we have, they play an essential part in our lives.

The pace of society had grown so much that I am sure most of us are caught up with a global-wide problem that is better known as the rat race. To many of us, time equals to money, and making money tends to be our main or primary goal. The pace of globalization, competition and
fear of being in lack had driven many people to great desperation. Eventually, our focus from the many little things and events that occur usually in our lives would had drifted away.

Grandma’s Meal

This is a story of Jim and his loving grandma.

Jim could hardly see his parents everyday. As breadwinners of the family, his parents had to work grueling hours to fulfill the demanding deadlines upon deadlines of their job.

There wasn’t anyone else in his family to take care of Jim except his grandmother.

Everyday, Jim’s grandmother would wake up in the early hours, when the sun have yet to rise in the morning, to prepare breakfast for him and his parents.

She was also the one who made the daily lunch and dinners for Jim as his parents would not even be home till the later part of the night.

However, Jim doesn’t like his grandmother’s cooking. He had always been reluctant to eat his meals that his grandma had prepared.

Jim frequently complained that the food had no taste and he frequently skips his meal and eats out either alone, or with his schoolmates.

Despite having Jim’s rebellious attitude towards the area of having to take his meals at home, his grandma continues faithfully to make sure that the food had been cooked and served on time.

Then came this one day.

Doing The Impossible
