Here is a question for you: If you see someone about to hurt himself by falling on his next step, would you do something to warn or stop him?
Well I would like to share this post with you as I’m quite curious about how people will react when they see an immediate problem. I came across an incident while I was on my way back from work today. This incident led me to believe that humans have a trait in common.
I believe we all share the concern to warn the person next to us about any form of impending danger that can possibly befall. As a human being, I honestly feel that we share a certain degree of compassion or concern towards one another. At least we should have a minimal degree of concern for one another even though we are completely strangers. I am talking about a perfectly natural human trait. There is nothing to be shy or to feel ashamed about. Even certain forms of animal life also share the same trait of concern towards one another.
So why should we refrain ourselves, instead of putting this trait in a constant practice? Now let me bring you to the encounters I faced in my life regarding this trait. Let me show you two examples. The first incident happened when I was on my way back from work one day.

Ever thought for a moment on how you would have reacted or acted out as some form of authority or “role figures” to some of the great characters that have graced our history when they were much younger?
Let’s say, your child was Albert Einstein, or you were William Shakespeare’s English language teacher, or even acquaintances of Thomas Edison as examples, what would you have said to them prior to becoming well known figures in our modern century history?

Editor’s note: Ever met with guardian angels who are quick to encourage, motivate, and build others up? Do they ever get discouraged in their own lives and who are going to guard them like how they had done for you? Here’s a great article written by our friend Ganapathy right here on WE!
Throughout our lives we have met and worked with several people. During these experiences we have often faced much pleasant and in some cases the really nasty ones where certain kinds of people seem to be just there to take pleasure in scrutinizing and mocking at your politeness or show of goodwill.
There may have been times where you would have asked yourself “who does that person think he is?” or “do they take me for a fool, me and my big mouth; I’m not going to bother next time”. It’s not surprising that you would have wondered at least once on why certain human beings behave this way?
You could have even concluded that “different people talk, think and do things differently” It is important that you don’t let these people get you down as most of the time these people are just being ignorant or too full of themselves to respect your intentions. They may not reveal their true feelings easily but did you know apart from the nasty people that were mentioned here, that there are people of the complete polar opposite in terms of character actually exist? You may not have come across them due to their low profile but they do exist.
Let’s call them the “guardians“.

Last Easter brought me into a reflection of God’s love. It was a reflection as I wrote an article for my blog, Reason-4-Smile Weblog. It was the last article on Limitation and Advantages series; a series that is very close to the theme in my blog, “turning limitation into advantages“.
Do you see your limitation as advantages?
The series talks about winning with your limitation. None of us like to have limitation. We all aim for the best of what we can be.
But here is a quote that stunned me…
What you resist will persist, but what you befriend, you will transcend.
~ Robin Sharma
Robin Sharma, a teacher in leadership, stated that overcoming our limitation comes after we befriend them. That may sound extreme, but it’s a perspective that we can change towards our limitations and things that we dislike about our life and our past.

Others say: love knows no limits and reaches no boundaries.
Love also goes the distance and doesn’t expire in time.
Love mends and heals the hearts of people.
Love is not reserved only for the lucky, but is given to those who are strong.
Some also say that love is likened to a razor that cuts deeper into a wounded heart.
Love is fragile and yet it’s strength goes against all odds.
For those who are in love, they are seen as having the wings of an angel.
Love embraces and showers areas of dryness in your life.
And that your soul will be filled with strength, because of love.
But love is also a hunger, a never ending thirst that everyone desires.
Love is tender and sweet.
It is this Love builds a bridge between you and me.
