One of the greatest things that certainly made my day happy was to be able to play a song on my guitar!

Yeps! That’s me playing the song “Heart of Worship” in the above music player from Last.fm.
I am still in the process of learning how to play the guitar, and to be able to play a worship song in a slightly different manner than how I first started playing is certainly a great morale booster for me.
Speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord, giving thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ - Ephesians 5:19-20, New King James Version
I’ve done this version up for Winning Everyone earlier in the day. There’s no vocals added into the music, just purely the instrumental played on a guitar that I had bought months ago at only around SG$54 including the guitar bag and a change of strings.
And I’ve made the track free for download too! Sharing the happiness with you guys here.
I’m making this post a pretty short one as the music speaks for itself. Do enjoy the song.
I’d leave you with the lyrics so you can sing and worship along to the instrumental.
“Heart of Worship”
by Matt RedmanWhen the music fades
And all is stripped away
And I simply come
Longing just to bring
Something that’s of worth
That will bless your heartI’ll bring You more than a song
For a song in itself
Is not what You have required
You search much deeper within
Through the ways things appear
You’re looking into my heartI’m coming back to the heart of worship
And it’s all about You
All about You, Jesus
I’m sorry Lord for the thing I’ve made it
When it’s all about You
It’s all about You JesusKing of endless worth
No one could express
How much You deserve
Though I’m weak and poor
All I have is Yours
Every single breathI’ll bring You more than just a song
For a song in itself
Is not what You have required
You search much deeper within
Through the way things appear
You’re looking into my heartI’m coming back to the heart of worship
And it’s all about You
All about You, Jesus
I’m sorry Lord for the thing I’ve made it
When it’s all about You
It’s all about You JesusIts all about you Jesus
Have a great weekend ahead!

Hi Daniel,
Thanks for sharing that song. It sounded great.
Seeing as I make my way in the world by bringing independent music to the masses, it always is cool to see another artist on their way.
Really enjoyed it.
Cheers,
Eban
