Need We Have Another Reason (to Build People Up)?

Here’s something that you would have noticed by now. That is, this blog has a very strong Christian influenced theme and tone towards the articles featured here. Myself too, with a liberal usage of bible verses showing up on most of the entries that were published in Winning Everyone (WE).

This would be one of such entry, which talks more about Jesus and also enhancing the core belief that was talked about in one of our previously published entry titled: “Need We Have Any Reason (to Build People Up)?”.

And of course, do open up your mind and heart on why you too should catch hold of our vision and grow together with us in Winning Everyone.

Our positioning

Our site is now going to focus strongly on people building. Most of us here in the WE Team are Christians right now and after reading the bible, it is a known fact that one thing that Jesus sought to do daily is to build others up – turning fishermen to fishers of men, turning tax collectors into writers and speakers, turning youths into upcoming and dedicated workers of the kingdom of God, healing people through both vocal and physical efforts, growing indecisive and hot tempered characters into some of the most powerful leaders ever seen in history.

We too will do that and build others up as we had always have!

The business that we are in today is in people development and by being relevant in today’s culture.

Results and measuring success

Jesus did all that as mentioned above, and had tremendous results in His days and also while during the days when the disciples went on all out to replicate His successes while being unique in their own ways.

How cool would it be today to see an increase and reaching similar results for Winning Everyone, while being unique in this modern day world, with our hearts committed to building each other up through encouragement, education, and empowerment, while we too can become better than what we used to be yesterday and seek out for growth in the present and going all the way forward till the end.

Back in the days of the New Testament, results were recorded using three different measures: followers, disciples, and miracles.

Measure #1: Followers

Jesus had many followers. Started prominently from a few that became His disciples, it grew to a sizable number that took their time off just to go over and see Him that is in the number of thousands.

That too is not kept into only one city.

Wherever He went with His disciples, be it in town A or town B, to city C to city D, there will be thousands upon thousands that walked by foot to hear, learn, and understand of His works and teachings.

Measure #2: Disciples

He had a great team of disciples working with Him, which started out from Simon Peter and Andrew (as seen in the painting in the featured image above), and then followed on with James and John. The team then grew on until what we know as the 12 disciples, and of course the many more that were featured lesser in the New Testament.

What I know about the disciples are that they were totally working in a field unrelated to being a teacher or a rabbi, and that they were either a tad bit too young, having doubts on whether this work will be as big or important in the world, slightly too old, or in their prime working in a field that doesn’t need any of their people defecting or embracing God in their work-life.

One thing is for sure, all of them became totally changed in a way where their strengths improved tremendously, where their unknown potential was unleashed, belief system that had a powerful renewal, and became people who are greater than what they would have thought of without Jesus personally calling out to them and building them up as they stayed on course and followed on.

Measure #3: Miracles

While there are the many thousands (today millions) of followers since the days when Jesus walked on earth with the many disciples that He had around Him during His 3 years of His work, there were many recorded miracles that occurred throughout the places where His group went.

Like in the book of Matthew chapter 8 itself contains 5 sections to talk about the miracles that occurred in a span of 1 (or possibly 2 days including travel time). One of the section was even a compilation of various miracles using a word called “many”.

It didn’t end there. Many more miracles were recorded throughout the New Testament and also right until up to today too! I had seen a few myself. You too, probably had seen numerous. Why not? Let’s have more miracles work on continuously in our lives.

Things in common

We too, have things in common with the team of people that Jesus had in His days and also after the days of His ministry where it was up to the disciples to run it with the Holy Spirit.

We have our own doubters, we may be too young to be considered wise and serious, we too have people who aren’t into writing or can’t write with a fluent usage of the English language, we too have adults who are working for a few years in various industries and may not have once thought that they at their age now could make any more impact in the marketplace, and there may be some who have already given up on hope and walk back into a slow and mediocre lifestyle with a toned down purpose in their lives. We too started out as unproven team of people.

Maybe you too see a little part of yourself in the above paragraph?

We too would love to reach out to the many thousands that Jesus and His disciples were able to in their days in terms of followers or subscribers.

We too have our great team who’s into building others up in our lives.

We too have seen some miracles that worked in various stages and periods in our personal walk – we could and definitely will be seeing more signs and wonders together.
