Replicating Your Successes With Your Current Goals

Here are 3 questions that I’m going to ask you as the introduction to this entry.

Questions

1. What were things you are passionate about and had successes in that you were able to replicate over and over again?
2. What are your current goals and visions you like to achieve and see yourself doing (or are already doing today)?
3. Now, find a way to replicate the successes with your current goals, and do them.

Answering the 3 questions

Give yourself sometime to think through those questions above, and answer them.

Let me share with you what my friend, Jephthah, and myself shared about when I had started this discussion with him yesterday during a long walk after dinner.

And before I go on, you might want to answer question #2 first, then go back to the first, before you go on to the third. This was what both of us did when this topic was brought up.

Question #1: What were things you are passionate about and had successes in that you were able to replicate over and over again?

This question touches more on our past successes that each of us would definitely had experienced. I am sure that all of us had enjoyed and were able to achieve victories every time we attempted challenges that we we were strong in and love doing.

My friend and co-founder of Winning Everyone, Jephthah, pondered over this question for a minute, tapping into his experiences he had when he was much younger, and started to speak enthusiastically:

“I topped my class in a ‘dollar-bill’ project”

He went on to describe on there was a classroom project where the teacher had gotten the students to come up with their own designs for a personalized dollar bill, where the one which was voted as the best will be the one that would have the highest value, that will allow that student to “purchase” the items on “sale” during that class. And the items were stationery sets. He fondly recalled that his design had included boats, people, and more features that got him to top his class, and of course, got him to buy a huge collection of items that were on sale that day.

“I love customized miniature racing cars and selling them!”

And he was successful in doing so! This hobby turned into a small business that got him extra pocket money during his primary school years.

It was my turn to answer that question. I took awhile longer than my friend to get an answer out.

“I have a knack for rallying individuals and getting one another to do things bigger than what we are”

What I had severely lacked when I was younger was in confidence. However, I realized that I had this ability to rally friends and doing greater things together.

I recalled one example where one of my friends and I were standing on top of an elevated area and looking at our secondary school’s soccer team, and we said that we would enter into that school team, and beating them. A year passed, and I was the first one from that group to break into the school’s team, and then followed on by more of my friends shortly after a couple of months later. Almost a huge part of the new school team were made up by our group!

Another instance was when there was a bazaar that was held in our polytechnic and we had an idea about starting a stall there. That was when I got about 5 friends onto this opportunity, and had a booth where our tag line was “Man Made Cookies!” (all 5 of us made up this all male team). The cool part was that we were the ones that had unique sales and marketing techniques during that bazaar, with “mobile selling”, to “testimony board” (where people can leave comments and encouraging feedback on the board after buying an item), to having an pretty well made advertisement filmed down in 2 days! We surely worked ourselves to see that 3 day bazaar to show results, and we definitely had fun working together in that project.

There were more that we shared during the walk, though let’s keep it to 3 for this post as we move on to the 2nd question.

Question #2: What are your current goals and visions you like to achieve and see yourself doing (or are already doing today)?

I am certain that all of us have dreams, and goals we would love to achieve in this year or a year later, or maybe 5 years down the road.

We too have our goals! And here were 2 that we shared yesterday.

“I want to have consecutive successful trades in Forex!”

Jephthah have been trading and made neat victories in the foreign exchange market where one of that was when he made more than 300% increase in 2 weeks!

“I want to speak and grow people of all levels!”

I am privileged in getting many opportunities to meet up with wonderful people from all levels and getting to talk to them. The good part is that the things that when spoken, are all practical and hold powerful words that does help make each others’ day and pushing on for greater successes - and achieving them.

Of course, we do that and also further increase our incomes which makes us financially abundant that gets us going on in our work.

Question #3: Now, find a way to replicate the successes with your current goals, and do them.

This is where we come to the fun part of this post: doing them.

We are not about all talk. The one thing that these questions were made is to get us to accomplish stuffs, recreating the feelings and encouragements that we once had when we succeeded before in our first challenges we faced when we were younger.

During the walk, we have come to realize where both of our strengths are in and how we can capitalize on them to grow each other in the Winning Everyone team while applying the things that we are focusing on in our daily life beyond this blog.

Jephthah is the leader who had led teams in sales and now with goals in continuing getting victories in Forex trading, he would take on a more active role in executing the stuffs that would bring in the finances in this team.

I am more of the starter and the person who rallies individuals towards a vision, goals, ideas, while being mentioned as someone who has wisdom (I take that compliment and have continuously built on that). Therefore, will continue to serve by building people up by growing both the team and along with you who is reading this today, adding value, wisdom, understanding, and powerful perspectives.

That’s our way in replicating successes and getting victories in our current goals!

The positive sign is that we are already doing them and getting on our way towards smaller targets that contributes to the bigger goals we have set for ourselves.

Alright. I’ve said quite a huge part for this entry that started with the 3 questions. Now it is your turn to answer them. Take time to find and clearly picture out the past successes you had tasted in life before, and also the goals you had in mind today, or for a huge period of time that had yet to realize.

Then access the state you were in before, with the emotions and encouragements you had when you were victorious, define your goals in order and… time to achieve them.
